Great to see Saku notch up a second victory in a row! What a legend!! I thought he would have been TKO'd when Zelg was pounding on him, but he pulled a magical knee bar almost out of thin air!...I think Zelg tore his meniscus right out...guess he could consider himself lucky he didn't get a heel hook cz then it would have been the ACL...

if that was ufc probably tko ref stoppage. way to stay in there and pull it off .he sure is polishing that resume up , legands and new talent.

i guess he still has a chin after getting beat down by wandy so much, kudos to sakuraba.

but yeah if this was the ufc it would def. be a TKO stoppage.

And maybe it shoulda been huh? I know he got the W in true Sakuraba fashion, but at what cost? This guy shouldn't be taking those type of shots to the melon at this point in his career even in an attempt to win a fight. At some point he's going to have to hang up the gloves to preserve his mental health. It's obviously tough for an athlete to recognize when it's time to move on but it's sad to see a legend get abused later in their career.
