but like everyone said, gyms are filthy, and it is impossible to disinfect every piece of equipment.

I dont think any of us ever want to see something like the Mir vs Nog fight again, and that's what this could have turned out to be. For the sake of the sport, I'd rather see two guys fighting as close to 100% as possible, especially if it means it only has to be pushed back very very slightly. No problems there, since it'll make for a better fight.
