yup, i hate shields as much as the next guy but i think everyone is going overboard with this jake shields hatefest. yes he ruined what could have been an exciting fight but the truth is he's not the guy that goes out and lnp all the time as everyone is insisting. the fact of the matter is before the mayhem fight, shields finished eight guys in a row, most of them in the 1st. he hasn't won via decision since he beat condit and okami by back to bak decisions in 06. among those last 8 guys he's stopped are lawler, mike pyle, the goat, and oh yeah everyone's favorite overhyped brit paul daley.

but still... f*ck jake shields
