if you want to crunch the numbers and not look at how the fights actually went, thats fine, but when Randy got "tko's" they were really fights where his opponents where out of gas and defensless and he could only hit them with tiny weak rabbit punches and the ref stopped the fight

I just don't see Cain showing Nog something he hasn't seen before especially when it comes to power. As brownburro once said "He's taken more punishment than Paris Hilton's vagina." If he can take the beating that CroCop gave him and still pull out the sub there is no way Cain will cause him a problem in the striking department.

I never even heard of Cain until a year ago maybe when they were talking about Cain being undefeated. I prolly DID watch him fight, but by the way u guys are speaking I can fathom as to why I dont remember him.

I hate boring fighters.

Possibly. I think the other side is that Nog has been put through the ringer and he's not the same guy. Not saying Cain will finish Nog in any way. But he's certainly athletic enough to grind out a UD.

Also I know he had staph and all but I didn't see a much different guy from the Mir fight to the Couture fight. He almost finished Randy 3 times *great* but did he really look faster to people? REALLY?!?!?

If he can get position on Cain drag him down than he's in line to get the sub but I just think it's more likely he'll be playing catchup the entire fight.

And if you want to really crunch numbers, Cain stoppages have been against heavy overweight guys and on poor stoppages

I think people are thinking so little of Cain's striking because his last two fights have been against large rangy kickboxers. He did the smart thing and took them down and wore them out, against a guy like Nog he won't hesitate to let his hands go. Can't wait for this spite fight! LoL

Also, if Nog wins I'll be happy for him, if Cain wins I'll be happy for me. Its a win win. Like the Bisping blunder summer of '09.
