i actually am pretty interested in all of the semi final fights really.

Roy vs Wren should be good. Two pretty similar fighters, but at very different stages in their careers. I think both guys have a place in the UFC in the future.

Schaub vs Madsen could be kinda interesting. There were pretty high expectations on Schaub since he's from the Jackson's affiliate out of Colorado, with Nate, Carwin, etc. I think Madsen could be a bad matchup for him, since he's a legit wrestler.

Big Baby vs Titties should be another good one too. Titties should be at 205, and Big Baby is a monster. It reminds me of Rashad vs Brad Imes in the finale of the 2nd season, to some extent. I have no idea who will take that one, both guys are pretty decent. I think Titties could take it if he can test Big Baby's cardio.

McSweeny vs Meathead should be pretty good too. They'll probably gas, but atleast they don't like one another. They're both going to stand, so it could be decent. Who knows though, hopefully it's not pathetic like both their last fights.

I read in Mike Wessel's blog today that, according to him, there are some "stand up wars" to follow. I'll assume McSweeny vs Meathead is one, no idea what the others could be. Roy vs Wren maybe? Schaub vs Madsen possibly?

I wouldn't say that Rampage won that verbal exchange, except that he shut Rashad up with a homoerotic joke...'page is still a moron, but I gotta admit it was pretty damn funny

But that said, I'm actually really looking forward to the semis. Some of the bad blood/drama bullshit that's been brewing should make for some more interesting semis.

Wren vs. Nelson - Fatty "Big Fatty" McFatFat's gonna try and stand with Wren. Nelson's got some tough hands, but not after the 1st round. Even if by some godawful luck (everyone else on the show gets mono from sharing drinks with Lesnar?) he wins the whole show, he's got a very limited future in the UFC for the simple fact that Dana really doesn't like him. But I seriously doubt there's any danger of that happening, and I'm hoping Wren's the one to shut him up.

Schaub vs Madsen - both are good wrestlers. I think this one has to go to the ground because of Schaub's height advantage (4 in.) and likely longer reach. When they get there, they'll either stall each other out or it'll be one of the better wrestling displays we've seen this season. Definitely looking forward to this matchup the most.

McSweeney vs Mitrione - Hoping to see Mitrione get dropped like flaming bag of dogshit. McSweeney's a decent fighter and should be able to give Mat the Rat a trip to night-night land. I'm guessing Mitrione will test McSweeney's chin a few times before it's done, though.

Jones vs. Schoonover - As much as I feel bad for Schoonover, he's probably gonna get it handed to him in this fight. Big Baby looked like a deadly striker coming into the show, and he showed some solid BJJ skills in his first round fight. I think they'll stand and bang til one of them gets rocked, then it'll be a question of ground game and cardio. We'll see...

Of the whole lot, only a few have a shot at a real UFC career, I think. Those not already training with one of the bigger camps need to get picked up at the end of the season and that means busting their ass in the semis (and helping train others for the semis, for those who lost) and having a good showing on the Finale episode. I'm curious to see who'll be picked up and who'll go back to Podunk, BFE (or Strikeforce).

Rampage didnt shut Rashad up he infuriated him which was better. This season is sooo edited for tv drama, it reeks of it's falseness. I mean cmon Dana actually tell Nelson his fight sucked? Nelson did the smart thing and Dana knew it. But he is still gonna make Nelson look like a bitch on T.V. and verbally slap him in the face. Dana dont like fighters that do that? Then why is he on the show? lol. What that guy commented on earlier is true and always has been. The guys on the show are not the best fighters available. I hate watching a show where half the guys are pretty much on my level or worse. I mean I have walked into gyms in Vegas and seen better guys training lol. What I am saying is the show isnt built around fighters the way it should be. I think the UFC got too commercial in its casting and the show definitely suffered from it the past 3 or so seasons. I hardly watch the crap but still. I havent found the show interesting since Rashad was on it. Just wanted to chime in and let the guy know he wasnt the only feeling cheated and called dumb

I don't see how anyone can think Titties is good. He could have lost so easily to worst fighter in the house. Zak was just over excited and left his head in that weak ass triangle. That and Marcus had one of the most impressive subs I've ever seen from a HW. He transitioned from sub to sub so smoothly. And Wessel was a former UFC fighter. That arm bar was so fast and so strong, I think he could seriously injury someone(accidentally) if he keeps fighting. Oh yeah, I forgot he's also by far the biggest, strongest and probably most athletic person there. Wessel throws bombs and they didn't even phase him. Titties is due for a wake up call. I wonder if he really believes he could fight Rampage. Seeing as they are the same size, Rampage being one the best LHWs in the world and Titties being one of the worst HWs, I'd give the slight edge to Rampage. Does he know why Page makes millions to fight and he sits alone drinking all day? Titties couldn't even handle Zak Jensen very well.
Sorry for ranting. But damn that Titties is lame.

Titties is still 10-0 in his career. A lot of these other guys already have losses, or like 3 or 4 fights at most. Give the guy a chance, we've seen him in the cage for like 2 minutes.

And whoever said these guys need to get into good camps...

Schaub - Jackson's
McSweeny - Jackson's
Big Baby - Gracie Tampa
Madsen - HIT Squad
Wren - Lutter's BJJ

So most of them are already with good camps as it is.

Touche'. Didn't know Titties was 10-0. Good fact. Honestly though, as dumb as it may sound, I think their records are pretty irrelevant. Considering they are all pretty green for the most part and you can't compare the people they've fought. A few of the guys like Schaub, Demico and Wren have bright futures. Jones, I believe, is some sort of anomaly. He's like the BJJ Lesnar. Except he's all respcectful and smart. I don't see anyone being able to deal with his size and athletic ability. He can take punches. His crazy ass BJJ skills are just the finishing mechanism. A vessel of the inevitable if you will. I could see him being one of the best HW in the world in 2 years. Why do I say this? Brett Rodgers. If he could rise through the ranks that fast, anything is possible. For some reason, I don't really see Jones continuing to pursue MMA as a career. He knows a ton about the sport. I see him becoming an analyst full time.

I was wondering about those two losses. I kinda figured they were to strikers. I just think there is a huge lack of real HW talent in the sport. If Jones signed with a big company tomorrow, they would be promoting him as the next big thing.
