Should be a good fight, I think Burkman has more skills though and I see him taking the fight. Wouldn't care if Sell took it though.

Awesome fight! One of the better ones on the night, too. Burkman took it to Sell in the 1st, but he gassed from all the weight cutting and couldn't keep the pace. Drago was his usually calm badass self and took Josh apart in the 2nd and 3rd.

It would have been a more interesting fight if Burkman hadn't been so tired. Had he not gassed, I think his pace would have proved too much for Pete Sell. He shot himself in the foot for this fight by not preparing his weight and that's really one of the big differences between good fighters and great fighters - preparing in every way, not just sparring, for a tough fight, including careful diet and meal planning to get that weight down.

I understand wanting to be as big for the weight-class as you can get and that 10 lbs. of water weight is easy to shed for most of these guys, but you've got to know your limits and Burkman missed his this time.
